The design office carries out all the hydraulic and dimensioning studies needed to collect, discharge or store liquids, whether domestic or industrial.
For over 60 years, the office has been drawing up general preliminary projects for water distribution networks adapted to the geographic and living conditions and individual consumption habits. It studies and gives practical shape to projects for supply and distribution pipelines and equipment for reservoirs or water towers. Its missions also include ensuring that the output from this equipment is good and combatting leaks.
As regards collecting and draining rainwater, since 1985 our experts have been drawing up general drainage plans and we also carry out studies on drainage networks and their related mechanisms. The concept of the natural storm drain (between 50 and 15,000 m³) was invented as of 1989 by in-house technicians.
Since 2003, IGRETEC has been a preferred partner of the communes and the Société publique de Gestion de l’Eau (SPGE – public water management company) for the preparation of Plans d’assainissement par sous-bassins hydrographiques (PASH – Plans for Decontamination by Hydrographic Sub-basins) and for the design and implementation of priority drainage work.
The design office devises and produces all types of facilities and infrastructures of all sizes needed to collect and treat waste water: collection networks, pumping, purification and flood water evacuation stations.
Operating at the heart of a coal mining area, IGRETEC boasts considerable know-how in producing decontamination inventories, consolidating old civil engineering structures (covering water courses beneath the slag heaps) or renovating damaged infrastructures.
