Strategic Development Committee

Strategic Development CommitteeThe Strategic Development Committee (CDS) of the Charleroi and South Hainaut region is a venue for the exchange of information, brain-storming, action and promotion connected to the strategic development of the area.

Its main aim is to serve as a driving force for development at supra-municipal level by providing guidance and contributing important support for projects that lend structure to this region in many areas, including economic development, training, mobility and communication, etc.

The Strategic Development Committee is made up of members from the economic world, trade union organisations and local political authorities. Moreover, leading figures from the Charleroi and South Hainaut region holding ministerial office, whether at regional, community or federal level, are de facto members of the Committee. Finally, a number of permanent guests representing leading institutions in our region complete the composition of this body.

IGRETEC, the intermunicipal company for economic development in the Charleroi and South Hainaut region, provides secretariat services and technical support for the Committee.
